Grants Administration

Sweetwater County administers a centralized and standardized grants management process that:


  • Improves transparency and accountability
  • Strengthens compliance
  • Reinforces policies and procedures
  • Implements internal controls

All Sweetwater County grant issues/awards are tracked and budgeted through this office to monitor projects, verify allowable costs and uses of funding, mitigate risks and to comply with the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200).

Assistance:
Please communicate with the Grants Administration Office for:

  • Preparation and coordination of grant applications
  • Grant project collaborations/partnerships
  • Pass-through grant activities
  • Letters of support from the Board of County Commissioners for grant projects
  • Approval of all grant Contracts, Agreements, MOU's, etc.
  • Questions related to grants in the annual Sweetwater County Financial & Compliance Report (Audit Report)
